TSG Products for IHE EyeCare - Ophthalmology - Optometry

TSG iView is an Intelligent Interoperable EMR Workflow system for ophthalmologists.

 - This system helps managing procedures on patients and is for managing and viewing DICOM objects (data and images) for eye care.

 - A High Quality, Highly Capable; Fully Interoperable IHE system providing ease of use at reduced costs .

 - Helps clinicians provide a greater value to their patients.

TSG iView is an IHE (Integrating the Health care Enterprise) compliant software product. TSG iView uses established standards such as DICOM and HL7 and the system is build to support optimal patient care. Systems developed in accordance with IHE communicate with one another better, are easier to implement, and enable care providers to use information more effectively.

With TSG iView clinicians benefit as it helps improve accuracy, efficiency and flow of information. It allows greater expandability and increases scope of research for clinicians and helps them in providing a better diagnosis and treatment quality to patients. IT professionals at clinics and hospitals benefit from TSG iView as it helps them in overcoming the challenge of integrating systems and allows scalability for the hospitals. With TSG iView administrators too benefit as it not only improves the financial performance of the hospitals but also enhances the efficiency of hospital personal.

It has three independent state of the art modules woven together seamlessly.

1) TSG iView Order Filler / Dept System Scheduler:

 - Coordinates the functions of imaging modalities, workstations and reporting stations in a department to maintain evidence based record of events as work is performed.

 - Schedules procedures, creates work lists, keeps track of progress and liaisons with Image Managers to store images and reports in Image Archive as standards based IM system.  

 - Communicates with Admission/Discharge/Transfer (ADT)  and Order Placer actors for reconciling patient administrative data with procedures ordered.

 - Provides authenticated and evidence based billing data for creating a charge: Charge Posting.

 - Capable to regularize scheduled but unperformed procedures with Admission/Discharge/Transfer and Order Placer actors.

2) TSG iView Image Manager / Image Archive:

 - Performs DICOM and HL7 services in accordance for managing DICOM objects (images).

 - Networks seamlessly with modalities and workstations to accept images and reports for long-term storage.

 - Validates objects, provides storage commitment, notifies object availability to department system and facilitates modalities and workstations to perform procedures.

-  With Level 2 DICOM capability it has an advanced query model and is capable to have unlimited DICOM and HL7 associations with remote applications simultaneously.

3) TSG iView Image Display :

 - Networks seamlessly with Image Manager/ Image Archive actor.

 - Queries and retrieves objects for viewing in accordance with DICOM protocols and can also import through media.

 - Display all DICOM tags including optional and private tags.

 - Capable to Display multiple images even with different SOP classes in a variety of display schemes.

 - Display advanced parameters and can display them real-time.

 - High on user convenience as some properties are burnt-in on the image itself for display.

 - Application specific displays features are also available as option.

It uses DICOMTALKS® which is an advanced and feature rich Picture Archiving and communication system providing a high level of manageability to clinicians. DICOMTALKS® uses Window Center and Window Width concept of image visualization and provides custom functions for clinicians to manage images and objects better.
